Just want to say thank you. The information was valuable while setting up my VPS.
LiveCode should really do something about the documentation.

Re: Script Editor / Debugger Problem
Hi townsend,
I'm just getting started again with Livecode 9.01.
I'm using Windows 10 and once code execution stops the buttons you're looking for are displayed. Just curious if that breakpoint might be disabled. On my system they are red if they're enabled or gray if disabled.

Re: Android 5.1
Finally got a few minutes to look at this again and was able to get USB debugging to work by selecting the PTP option.

Re: Android 5.1
I double checked and I have from 6.0 to 4.0 installed. If your apps are working on 6.0, then it has to be a configuration problem.
Thanks Richard

Android 5.1
I've not worked on any Android apps and I'm getting ready to start one with LiveCode 8.0.2. The phone I planned to test with has Android version 5.1 on it, but LiveCode doesn't recognize it. Everything works fine with Android version 4.4. Is it possible Android 5.1 is not supported by LiveCode? Best...

Re: Postgresql and Parameters
I got it working. I didn't catch in the documentation that variable names have to be quoted.

Postgresql and Parameters
Hey everyone, I've been away from Livecode for a while and trying to get back into it. I've been trying to save a record to a Postgresql database using the ":" placeholder. My query: put "INSERT INTO groups ( group_id, group_name, is_active ) VALUES ( :1, :2, :3 )" into sql revExecuteSQL gCon, sql, ...

Re: New version 5.5 announced - free or fee?
I got the same email. Not sure I am interested in the offer though. The last pre-release with the promise of the first full release (Android Mobile) left me with nothing more than a big hole in my wallet. I think 5.5 will have new options I am interested in, but I think I will wait until it is out b...

Everything is working now.

Launcher standalone and Data Grid Problem
Hi, I have a main stack that I am using for a splash/launcher standalone. This stack opens, does nothing but open another stack which has a Data Grid. The data for the data grid comes from an sqlite database. Everything works ok except for the data grid. I query the database with revDataFromQuery, b...

Re: LiveCode 5.0 Released
I agree Barry...
I haven't purchased B4A yet, but I will purchase it before I upgrade my LiveCode Android package.
If I wasn't obligated to another project at this time, I would have already purchased it. I am still a little
irritated over the whole experience.

Re: LiveCode 5.0 Released
Yeah, that's fine if you ONLY want to develop for Android. But that's a mugs game! Today you HAVE to cross develop if you are serious about it. And LiveCode is the only TRUE solution to this conundrum. I started using RunRev back about 5 years ago. Then the price point was 4 times as much as now. S...

Re: LiveCode 5.0 Released
Looks like Runrev have finally priced me out of their market after 5 years... I'll stuck with LC 4.6.4 desktop for now and go with other products for Mobile. Paul Priced me out of their market in less than one year. I will be looking at basic4android. I am really disappointed with my purchase for t...
