Image Silder?
Hi there, I know the examples which shows how to use swipe-gestures to swipe between cards, but how can I use this on images? I'm looking for a way to show the user an image and he can swipe between all images that are available (in the directory) on mobile devices. Is something like this possible i...

Can we close this thread, as it is not going anywhere!
It's so typical here, that everybody wants to blandish everything about LiveCode.

Re: Is there any really successfully App build with LC?
The professionality and success of your app depends on you, not the language you use to write it. See Scott Rossi's work, he does almost all of it in LiveCode: http://www.tactilemedia.com/ Click the "Portfolio" link to see what he has done, which includes work for some prominent businesses. He also...

Re: Is there any really successfully App build with LC?
I tried the demo from http://livecode.com/livecode-7/resolution-independence/ and run it in the iPhone-Simulator, but I don't seems to work - why?

Re: Is there any really successfully App build with LC?
Thank you. Will it be possible in LC8 to access a SDK, while it's in beta (new iOS comes up) to implement new hardware-features to get the App released at the same time the new iOS will be available to consumers? If I want to build an App which should run on every mobile-device (smartphone/tablet) a...

Re: Is there any really successfully App build with LC?
Sure, around 25% in the current Top 100 Apps are build with Xamarin. Why? Because it's easier to build for multiple plattforms and you can design your screen for multiple-resolutions without(!!!) geometric deformations much much faster without special code or something like that, which is needed in ...

Re: Is there any really successfully App build with LC?
I think "A++" should be easy to understand ;) I stop using LiveCode now... - everything takes to long - no good results from RunRev - AutoScale feature is useless for professional usage (no one needs geometric deformation or borders) - still no nativ look for iOS or Android - ... (the list is long) ...

Re: Is there any really successfully App build with LC?
Again: I'm searching for an A++ App which is big in business, not this kind of stuff, which is for some niches.
I mean popular Apps like them, which are build with such as Xamarin or in C.

Is there any really successfully App build with LC?
Hi there, is there any really successfully paid iOS A++ App out there, which was build with LiveCode, yet? I mean RunRev celebrates themselves a few times since LiveCode 7 released and a few times on LC6 and now the big course is out there with big promises of potential success in business - but whe...

Re: Extend LiveCode with iOS SDK..
Ok, thank you :) So, just to be clear - that means: Right now, I can access EVERY iOS-API-Function via LiveCode's external API (such as iCloud-features). And in LC8 I can access them directly in my script. What means, that things like mergExt are useless in LC8 - right? BTW: Very soon means? And do ...

One card for every device (size)?
Hi there, if I want to build an App which should run on every iPhone and maybe iPad without geometric deformations or borders, which comes with the build in scale of LiveCode, is it the best way to set up every screen with a single card for every device in the App and check on start of the App, whic...

Extend LiveCode with iOS SDK..
Hi there,
is it right, that I can extend LiveCode by myself with the iOS-SDK to access iOS features?
If the answer is yes: Does this work every time, even if the iOS-SDK is brand new released?
