[UPDATE] Before I go nuts... iOS app submission to TestFlight
Well... I figured it out. Yes I needed to create new certificates and providing profiles. I got the standalone created. After a wee bit of confusion with AirLaunch, I created the .ipa file. I used Transporter to deliver the file to App Store Connect and... I got an error message I haven't seen befor...

Before I go nuts... iOS app submission to TestFlight
Well, I've once again run into a WTF situation with certs and provisioning profiles, etc. I am finally sitting down to update our app and, since my main machine can't be updated to run Xcode 14.2 which means it can't access iOS 16.2 which means I can't use to for deployment, I've transferred everyth...

Re: Haptic feedback? Visual feedback of a long touch?
Brian: I'll give that a try. Seems promising. SparkOut: I was a bit unclear about what I need. The user has a list of words/phrases. Individual ones can be enabled/disabled with a touch. That list is used as the source for a randomly selected phrase to "load" a field on another screen. The locktext ...

Re: Haptic feedback? Visual feedback of a long touch?
Thanks Craig, Yes, this is on mobile. I have the basic functionality operational with a dialog box popping up after touchend/mouseUp IF the touch has been held long enough but I don't like that there's no user feedback that they have "touched" long enough to trigger the edit function. I have a simpl...

Haptic feedback? Visual feedback of a long touch?
I have a situation where I'd like to use a long touch/hard touch to initiate editing a specific line of text in a field. Ideally, I'd like to have haptic feedback when the long touch has been registered, but I have no clue how to access that. Instead, I may process things in a "mouseStillDown" handl...

Re: Getting user feedback/ratings into AppStore?
Thanks for the reply. I don't have a problem with Apple's decision. As a result of their action, a long overdue update is now front and center. I'm sure having the review/ratings interface is not going to increase traffic or change the time we can stay in the store. I just think it's a capability I ...

Re: Getting user feedback/ratings into AppStore?
No replies to the original post is not a good thing. I'm guessing this is a sign that I need to do LCB? I'm hoping the learning curve isn't too long. Then again, how hard can it be to do a widget that ties into Apple's review sstem? (That's a joke :D ). We really want to add this capability to our a...

Getting user feedback/ratings into AppStore?
Does anyone have a widget, etc. that accesses the IOS App Store Review Control (SKStoreReviewController)? The SKStoreReviewController API lets you give users an easy way to provide feedback about your app. You can prompt for ratings up to three times in a 365-day period. Users will submit a rating t...

Re: Forgot and updated
UPDATE : Well things are working now. I think I was just being impatient. I have successfully built a number of versions, tweaking and fixing various things (at 19 now) and have successfully uploaded each to the App Store for testing using TestFlight. For those who may still be having trouble with ...

Re: Android equivalent to mergPopActivity & the iOS Share sheet?
Hey Simon. Thanks so much for your response. I never would have thought a command generating an email would trigger a share sheet. I conceptually understand why it does but never would have thought to check it out. I'll continue chasing it to see if it actually does what I need. My specific use case...

Android equivalent to mergPopActivity & the iOS Share sheet?
I'm working on "porting" our iOS app to Android... but am not an Android user (nor fan). In our iOS app, we use mergPopActivity to open the iOS Share sheet and populate it with an image where appropriate. We need the same functionality (single button click to open options for sharing to any installe...

Re: JDK Path: None
Just dropping something here in case someone finds this thread.
I just discovered that a properly linked Android Studio SDK path means you don't need to have the JDK path showing in the Mobile Support pane.
In my case, everything seems to work without it.

Re: android sdk [SOLVED]
My 2¢ and a new wrinkle. Have Android testing working. Installed jdk-8u311-macosx-x64 Installed Android Studio per Klaus' recommendation. Works BUT.... the JDK path does not show in the Mobile Support pane. If this happens to you... don't worry about it? More details: https://forums.livecode.com/vie...

Re: [Partially Solved]SDK root & JDK path: None
Had a similar problem I thought and it's SOLVED?. Looking to test/build/deploy an Android version of iOS app. Mobile Support pane showed Android SDK location but the JDK path was blank. Worked through other issues and now I can test on an Android device. But still no JDK path showing. LC 9.6.6 (RC-1...
