Unfortunately his English pronunciation is considerably non-standard.
With a transcript they would be good.

Re: Cannot undo a graphic opaque setting
Didn't have any problem with the left-hand graphicsimply to be able to grab that control from its interior with the pointer tool, but still as an open shape

Re: Disappearing Tools Palette
My fairly goofy stack is NOT intended as anything more than the built-in LIveCode Documentation; all it is intended to be is a way of making it possible, using a standalone hived off from it, to be able to access the LC Documentation on a different virtual desktop to the IDE. Personally I would neve...

Re: Easy math for LC users
Thanks for reviving this thread Richmond To be honest, I didn't. There was an extremely short post just before mine from someone (possible Spam?) that brought it to my attention, then, my having added my stuff, that posting vanished. It is a very interesting thread that deserves quite a bit of atte...

Re: Easy math for LC users
All those postings did for me was explain 2 things:
1. Why I made a complete fool of myself in a Maths exam when I was 18.
2. At 60 at least half of my brain is like curdled milk.
3. It's a good thing I make my money teaching English.
4. AND I still haven't worked what '2 things' means.

So, now might be the appropriate moment to ask Jacque the best place to go to learn regex.
The Whackypedia article, interesting as most whackpedia articles tend to be, just made what my dear, dead Dad called "my prawns" shrivel .

Re: How can I replace a random amount of spaces with 1 comma?
Purism is like most things, alright up to a point. And while regex may not be 'pure' LiveCode, it is certainly purer than fudging around with Java script from inside LiveCode. And it doesn't seem much worse than using an image editor to get the images one intends to use inwith LiveCode 'just right'....
