I am making a fuss (and NOT "a great big fuss") about them because they ought to be sorted out, and as far as I can tell that should be relatively easy.

Anyway; a bug report has now been filed: Number 11360.

So, I installed LC 6.1.2 on Windows XP and found something that is a bit odd: according to your posting 'hcs'

but I found that the script editor does not allow multiple undos.

This is one of the reasons various people have been talking about an ability to hook up an external script editor.

I'm running it in VMware Player 6.0.1 on Ubuntustudio on a 64 bit machine.

I cannot get to to see shared folders set up in VMware yet; so will try downloading 6.1.2 and 6.50 dp2 straight from the horse's mouth.

I think, Newbie4, you had better mosey over to the Use-List where this discussion is currently on full-throttle.

Well, Gurki, I am glad that has helped you; however, RunRev do need to get their act together re the Linux installer; even if that just means blocking out the "for Everyone" option.

If you want a more rapid response to questions the Use-List is a better bet.

After about 12 years I am still asking "goofy" questions there, and the other members of the Use-List are usually kind enough to respond with helpful suggestions really rapidly.

I agree with Richard Gaskin that RunRev do need to "sort out" a 64 bit version of Livecode for Linux. What I do not like is the way that Ubuntu, which, like it or not, seems to be leading the way with regard to desktop PCs in the Linux sphere, seems to be slowly abandoning its roots; that is to say ...
