Windows 10 - Default button colour values

UI Question

Does anyone know the default colour values for the new Windows 10 buttons - such as mouseOver/Within. What is the exact RGB or HEX value for this grey?

Re: Dropping coloured text on a field

Thanks Paul for your solution.

I have adapted it, as I am also dropping in files, and now have the coloured text when I drop it on a field. The only part I have taken out is dropping a text clipping on the desktop as this seemed to interfere with getting the rtfText.

Thanks again for the help.

Re: Application for creating ico files?

Thank you for your responses.

I found one called iConvert Icons, and it converts my icon into a .ico file which can be used to create the standalone. Seems OK with the little experimenting that I have done.

Thanks again for your help.

Re: Dropping coloured text on a field

Hi Richmond62 You are correct. I want to drag that has some words in a different colour from the default black from an external source - such as a pdf, or another application, and drop it into a LiveCode field and retain the colour information. I also need to do the reverse. Drag the text in a LiveC...

Re: Dropping coloured text on a field

Thanks for advice. Tried "html" does not work. Only responds to "text" and "rtf" variants.

Maybe I am missing something that is obvious?

Dropping coloured text on a field

If I copy and paste text from another application or pdf onto a field then I retain the colour information for the text. If I drag and drop the same text, it does not retain the colour information. Using on dragDrop handler within the field. using code like on dragDrop if "text" is in keys(the dragD...

Re: Professional Indemnity/Cyber Insurance

Hi Richard and Simon Up until yesterday I had been given three quotes to cover such insurance, until I read more carefully the small print, and they made contradictory statements that I would be covered against accidental virus transmission, and then later that this was excluded! One policy that I w...

Professional Indemnity/Cyber Insurance

I am about to start testing and hopefully sell an application. I intend to use a website to download demos, and eventually sell applications from the website. For the UK, what insurance is available for professional indemnity and cyber insurance - such as the unintentional transmission of malware or...

Re: Resizing newly created card in 5.5.1

Hi Bernd

Thanks for this.

Noticed this this morning and code for the width and height, and coded other handlers to position objects when being resized. It seems to work.

Thanks again.

Re: Resizing newly created card in 5.5.1

Hi Mark Thanks for the suggestion. Still does not work at runtime on new cards created at runtime. Had already started writing my own resizeStack handlers. This was just for a field that I wanted to rescale - with the topLeft position fixed and the bottomRight to change. on resizeStack reScaleObject...
