Re: Image not showing in emulator
So if I use the Source property in the property inspector this will not work? I selected the image with the file selection and it shows in design mode. Then in the emulator it does not. If this is not the way to do it, then why do they let me select and show the image this way?
Thanks,
Warren

Image not showing in emulator
Hi,
I added an image area in my app and loaded a picture through the properties. When i ran it in the Android 2.3 emulator there was no image. Does the image file itself need to be in a certain folder to be included? I must have missed something.
Thanks,
Warren

Re: Emulator gray under Test Target - why?
FourthWorld, can you tell me how to test an app on my phone itself? I tried searching and cannot find it. I have an Android Samsung Galaxy S2. Thanks, Warren Yeah, I spent a lot of time getting several emulators running, and all of them suck big time. Completely unusable for practical work. Far simp...

Re: Emulator gray under Test Target - why?
Thanks for the info on resizing. It would have been side if this was addressed in the app itself where you have a target size you develop for and then can click a preview size to see what it will look like with the app being resized automatically. That's how I have seen it in another mobile developm...

Re: Stacks and content being resized
Thanks. So does this mean what I said will happen if I drop controls on the screen for 320x480 and then run in a 640x960 - will they show in the top left corner?
I'll look at what you linked to now.

Stacks and content being resized
Hi, I received an email from support saying that stacks are re-sized on different resolutions but I will still need to resize the content. I was hoping everything would be re-sized automatically. So if I write an app to fit on the screen on an original iPhone with the resolution of 320x480 where eve...

Re: Emulator gray under Test Target - why?
Thanks. I haven't gotten that far yet. I just downloaded the trial today and ran my first little Hello World demo to see it work. I'll look into using my Samsung Galaxy S2 to test it all on. What i am wondering is say it displays fine on my phone. I would like to see how it will run on another phone...

And the controls are so ugly compared to the development screen.

Re: Emulator gray under Test Target - why?
I installed Android 2.3 and it is now working. So I'm trying new things out. Wow, the emulator takes forever to load it seems! But so far so good.

Re: Emulator gray under Test Target - why?
Okay, I got it enabled. Then it built the app but the emulator screen came up black. It just did the Hello World app. So I read someone changed it to Android 2.3 and it worked fine. So I am installing version 2.3 right now and will try it. I'm just trying to see this work.
Thanks!
