Stack and External installation
Assuming that my first real-world dll will be ready soon for use with a Runrev stack, and that I wanted other users to be able to try a standalone (or a IDE) version my stack too, how could I arrange for my stack to be accompanied by the necessary dll? Could I put the dll as a file into a custom pro...

Re: Built a successful external?
Yes, tried it this morning on Windows Vista, and it worked like a charm. I used the SDK from the article and followed the steps outlined there to the letter. Except I had to use Visual C++ Express 2008 from Microsoft. Since the article said one should use the 2005 edition, I tried to download that, ...

Re: Serious Games and Game-Based learning
Hi Marielle,
it's been two years now that you posted your report, yet I found it very stimulating. Are you still engaged in game-based learning? I would like to learn more about that, would appreciate pointers, and, of course, your interesting reports!

Re: Asymetrix keys
Only curious, but one of my major (hobbyist) interests lies in cryptography, so I am always curious as to what people encrypt, why and how
Good luck with your efforts!

ale870,
did that work for you? Could you use the sha-1 routine in your code? What did you do with it? What are you trying to accomplish?
Just curious...

Re: Set Default Revolution OS X
Hi Matty, for me, the following works. Open Rev Studio 4, go to the Help menu, select "Manage versions...". On my computer, for instance, the following three versions are listed: "4.0.0-gm-1 (default) 4.0.0-dp-4 3.5.0-gm-2" Below the list, you will find two buttons, one labeled "Make Default", the o...

Re: On_Rev: include graphics in html documents?
@sturgis: thanks. With "DG" you mean "GD", or am I mistaken? I can only find references to php and graphics libaries with "GD". Your code looks interesting, and I understand the logic. Maybe I will go for this for the final version of my program. For now, as to creating the image, I have decided to ...

Re: On_Rev: include graphics in html documents?
Bernd, thanks for the links. In an e-mail, Sarah Reichelt told me that iRev scripts cannot access stack files, and she does not see any way to create a graphics server-side only using iRev scripts. My first thought was "Oh well, then I just go about it by creating a bitmap image, storing that tempor...

Re: revlet plugin detection
Thanks, Bernd, the revlet idea was the first I had for my first client. I turns out he wasn't very precise about his needs, and now it is clear that most people who are going to use my program will not be allowed to install anything on their (company) computer, so I can't pursue the revlet venue any...

Re: On_Rev: include graphics in html documents?
Bernd, this is a very nice link to a beautiful example of irev scripting from which I am going to learn a lot, I am sure. The more examples like these I see, the more attractive On-Rev becomes. Since Sara - somehow - manages not only to download images to the browser but also to upload them, the cap...

On_Rev: include graphics in html documents?
Has anyone tried to create a html page using .irev code that returned a graphics to the user?
I do not yet have an On-Rev account but would like to know if you can include graphics into a html file created server-side by .irev code just as you would create text contents.
Thank you.

@Malte,
I guess I will face a situation similar to the one you described (customer with rather limited financial resources) with my short-term project. I now have a rough impression of the financial side of the deal, thank your for sharing your experiences.
Tschüs,
