Re: Family Tree Diagram

Hi,

While I would like to be helpful, I have stopped working on this a couple of years ago, and I don't have access to any files. Sorry. Hope you find a solution.

Best Wishes,

Re: Getting Started Questions

Hi Simon, It's been a while since I posted the above. However, I am still interested in seeing how this can be accomplished in LC. I'm running 4.6.4 on a Windows 7 machine. When I click on User Samples, log in to Rev Online, search "genealogy" nothing is coming up. Not sure if Rev Online search is w...

Family Tree Diagram

Hi, I am trying to develop a basic family tree drawing program in LiveCode 4.6, just starting, and wondered if the following "essentials" can be done by a user in run time?: (1) inserting png images from a file (to serve as symbols for family members), dragging and dropping to where the user needs t...

Re: TV Static Animation

Hi, Strangely, the first Fuzz runs perfectly for speed and style of animation. However, the canvas is not larger enough (needs to be 640X640), there are 12X12 dots (needs to be 8X8) and so it only has 1024 dots. Once this animation code is used in Fuzz2 for a 640X640 canvas, 8X8 dots and a total of ...

Re: TV Static Animation

Hi Dixie, Thanks again for your help. :) Is there a way to change the speed of the animation? In comparing it to the speed of the animation in the Flash version (http://elearningprojects.com/WN5.swf), it is slightly slower, so it needs to be sped up a little (not much). The animation demo needs to b...

Re: TV Static Animation

Hi Dixie, Thank you very much! As a LiveCode beginner, it will take me some time to study how this works, figure out the script. I would need to make the canvas larger (640 X 640), using 8 X 8 dots (rectangles), add a toggle for the person viewing to click the screen for pause/resume, and finally a ...

TV Static Animation

Hi, I need to create an animation for an eLearning project to illustrate a concept called dynamic visual noise. It is similar to TV static but has a larger pixel size. I wonder if this can be done in LiveCode? A description of dynamic visual noise and a link for a demo (and source code written in De...

Re: Basic Animation

Hi Bernd, It has been a while since I've posted. Your help last year, as now, is very much appreciated! Thank you for this example. It will take a little while for me to fully understand the script. My RunRev skills (limited as they were last year) are a little more limited now since I haven't pract...

Web Deployment Guidance

Hi, A beginner using Studio 4.0, the web deployment option offers wonderful possibilities. But, I'm not sure yet how to use it to its full capability. For example, can a stack which writes to and reads from text files in a desktop version somehow be deployed to the web and continue to function this ...
