Re: Merry xmas from Australia!
I'm supposed to be helping with the preparation for tonight's xmas eve family dinner. Instead, I went to the 'Getting started' with Livecode forum and picked the last question asked then submitted it to the AI engine. This is the response:

Illegal extension and saving in standalones
There is a recent post observing that the .livecode extension is considered to be "illegal" See https://forums.livecode.com/viewtopic.php?f=143&t=36331&p=209272&hilit=illegal#p209272 This would seem to indicate that it nullifies the ability to save in standalones where it is necessary to create a sp...

When the going gets tough ...
And what a tough year it's been. Best wishes to LC and its assembled forumites for the holiday season. On behalf of all Australians I would like to also offer my condolences to any fans of English cricket.

Re: CPU usgae
Now confirmed as a bug - #23366 in progress.
Re: CPU usgae
I have lodged a support request and I will let everyone know the outcome ..
Re: CPU usgae
There are 42 sound files in the folder in a mixture of formats .. wav, aiff, m4a, mp3
Re: CPU usgae
That seems to be the source of the problem indeed. I duplicated the working stack of 2,355,234 bytes then loaded the sound files into the duplicate and emptied the fields and quit the stack.
