Yes, Google now requires API 35 or higher, and now starts the frustrating game with LiveCode, which is still stuck at API 34 and does not accept API 35 and certainly not the API36 already available in Android Studio to build an aab.file.

Experienced the same problem yesterday as Neta in comment 18/19 of quality report under Bug 22251 I used this tools: LiveCode 9-6-5 (rc 3) Java 8 Android 11-0 - API 30 Android SDK Build tools 32 rc-1. I can build with 9-6-1 however then you need SDK 13-5 which is coming with Xcode 11-5. And I got a rejection because I did not use the latest Xcode, which is 12-1. Hi David,
Thanks for your question and answer - I had the same problem and your solution saved me a lot of time - but how did you find out, you had to set 9 (I used 10) instead of 8 ?
