Heya Stam, not surprisingly, this has come up once or twice before (yes, I do weird stuff no one should expect to be done out side of a mad scientist's labratory)

Re: browser still broken on linux, or just me?
I don't think it is just you, and I don't think it is fixed anywhere else. I personally have never gotten the browser to work in general on 'nix, I have read others *have* had some version of the browser work. I don't spend enough time (well, any really) in a version that has the browser, so am not ...

Re: visual effect "push Left"?
Well, I see you have your 'push left' in quotes, which isn't how it shows in my dictionary. I set up a stack with 2 cards on it, I put a field on one card, and a tab group on another. In the stack script, I put : on mouseUp visual effect push left go to the next card end mouseUp Seems to work as adv...

Re: Replace text of any characters between parentheses with a space
I dunno why regex gets on your nerves Richmond, it is no more or less than a few plain english symbols and the command as Jacque put it is certainly shorter than anything else that popped in so far. Orders of magnitude faster as well I wager. I keep meaning to get around to parsing it, but usually i...

Re: quick question... (show invisibles) [Solved]
There's no way anyone can associate that with a single individual. You might be surprised at what (previously thought) innocuous thing can personally identify someone. Every time I read about some thing I thought would never be able to be used to id someone, someone else figures out how to id you f...

When I see that, I'll post a link to the video of the game so you can see what a shark she really is ...(cue "The Hustler" theme song) heh heh All kidding aside, I should point out that I am fairly certain none of these people are the beloved forum members we have here (except Panos and Klaus, they ...

Re: Replace text of any characters between parentheses with a space
How about “offset”. Use offset to find the “(“ the. “)” chars. Then delete the chars in between. Hee hee, I thought I said that :P This also apparently works ok... on mouseUp put "" into field 2 put field 1 into theSource repeat with x=1 to the number of characters of theSource wait 5 ticks with me...

Re: Replace text of any characters between parentheses with a space
Um, jsburnett, that will certainly take out parenthesis, but that was only part of the equation posted. I want to replace all text within in parentheses ( including the parentheses ) with a single space. I'm pretty sure you could do this easily with offset (character level to find the parenthesis an...

You just knew some of these questions would draw me in I bet heh. Well, whether you want it or not (and if you don't, skip to the next post! No point in raising your blood pressure, and mine is already too high), here is my lunch monies worth  I've considered a check on startup for updates,...

Re: separators in popup menus? [Solved]
The following is solely an answer to your question, not a slam, nor a disagreement with what you said, and in fact I can't say I had any problem at all finding the menu builder (but then, I more or less tore the entire original IDE apart as well, so take what you will from THAT :P ) How "hidden" is ...

Re: separators in popup menus? [Solved]
Overkill? Hee hee, I work under the theory that if a little is good, too much should be just right  I use this all the time, even for the simplest menus, just to save typing time. In fact, the only time I don't use it literally is when I need to use a stack for a menu. I've setup about 9 di...
