Re: New requirement for Google Play.

Hello lodijoe, Google Play store, starting from this August if I remember correctly, requires new apps to have the Android 9 in the targetSdkVersion. Note that this is different from the minimum Android version one can set in the android standalone settings. The targetSdkVersion is not settable from...

Re: IPA is not valid doesnt include payload directory

Hello Tom,

I do not think that creating an .ipa as you described will work.

Please follow the instructions in this lesson for creating the ipa file:

http://lessons.livecode.com/m/4069/l/33 ... -app-store

Re: IPA is not valid doesnt include payload directory

Hello Tom,

How did you create the .ipa file?

And what does it contain?

(you can rename the .ipa to .zip and extract the .zip to see its contents)

Re: compatible software?

Hello jessamy, The latest "stable" version of LiveCode is currently 9.0.4. The latest "release candidate" version is currently 9.0.5 RC-1. You can find them here: https://downloads.livecode.com/livecode/ On MacOS 10.13.6, for these ^^^ versions of LiveCode you'll need Xcode 10.1, which you already h...

Re: compatible software?

Hello jessamy, The standalone builder signs the app bundle. If you modify the standalone app bundle *after* it was signed (for example when editing the plist file), the signature is invalidated. So in this case you have to: 1. Build a standalone again. 2. Copy the plist file from the standalone app ...

Re: ...find a valid identity...

Hello David, See this lesson: http://lessons.livecode.com/m/4069/l/308242-how-do-i-create-a-development-profile-for-ios BTW you have to put the exact app id (and not a wildcard) if your app uses some specific services, such as in app purchase, push notifications, HealthKit etc. Otherwise a wildcard ...

Re: ...find a valid identity...

Hello DR White, This probably means that the provisioning profile you used to sign the app is not associated with any of the certificates stored in your KeyChain. To fix this, create a new certificate, make sure you associate it with the provisioning profile (through the Apple Dev Centre), download ...

Hello melly, Could you post here the iOS icons you use and don't appear? There might be an issue in the icon files. Re: Browser Widget with MP4 and WebM Videos!!

This post looks suspicious. It has exactly the same text as this bug report:

but also has some suspicious links.

Re: LiveCode 8.1.4 crash with File\Open Stack ... in Windows XP

Hello peterbill, Windows XP are no longer supported by Microsoft and thus have security vulnerabilities, so LiveCode stopped supporting this version too. What you describe was reported as a bug, but it only affected Windows XP, so the report is closed. https://quality.livecode.com/show_bug.cgi?id=20...
