Re: My point of view
In warming up for the Infinite LC campaign, Trevor, Kevin and Mark put together an interview that was such interesting reading, I read it twice. The highlight of the interview was the licensing and the LC business model. I've been watching the discussion on Indy/Business licensing costs the past few...

Re: Keep App Alive
Since people need to access it, I would think the app needs to run in the foreground all the time (even if pressing the Home button).
Have a look at Autostart and StaY (on Google Play) which does what I think you need.

Re: LiveCode 2-year Indy offer - mistimed?
I'm happy to hear the 2-year Indy offer worked for some people, like you Matt. I really hoped it would work for me too, and for many others. I clicked on the purchase link more than once, but in the end I didn't go through with it. After removal of the Membership option, which I purchased last year ...

LiveCode 2-year Indy offer - mistimed?
Almost two months ago, after attempting to complete the latest LC survey, and reaching the point were it was asking me to predict how many developer days I would need offered to me and how much I would pay for them or for the software in general, I wrote to LC Support the following: This is pointles...

DataGrid header issue with center alignment
My DataGrid header alignment efforts are encountering some strange behaviour. Here's what I'm doing: - Drag a datagrid onto the card ("dg1") - Put "TheText" into the Contents (a single row, a single column) - Put "TheColumnHeader" into the first column label (column name is "Col 1"). This is purpose...

Re: DataGrid cell object
Thank you Ledigimate, I really liked your script. It works great. Although you DID violate 2 of the original rules I had set: - this must be done OUTSIDE the script of the cell - it must not be done when contents are updated Not that I mind really  To summarize, setting DG cell properties dire...

Re: DataGrid cell object
Hi Ledigimate, These internal objects were not designed to remain associated with rows going out of the visible range. Try this: Create a DataGrid as described above (table-type Datagrid with 20 rows of data, 10 visible, textsize 12 normally). Say the text is "Text1", "Text2" and so forth up to "Tex...

Re: Missing Greek in LC 7 logo
It is amazing to find so many inconsistencies in a single sentence like the one you posted. Almost one in three words.
I really won't take this any further - I put a smilie at the end of my message to show that I meant it lightheartedly, but apparently this was not clear enough for some.

Re: DataGrid cell object
Thanks Will, What you propose unfortunately does not work and this is why this seems to be a bug. In the example I described above (table-type Datagrid with 20 rows of data, 10 visible, textsize 12 normally), I am setting one specific cell [1,1] to textsize 18 via external code (can be even from the...

Missing Greek in LC 7 logo
Hello LC 7 logo designer(s),
I counted "Hello" in more than 30 languages in the new 7 logo, but not Greek. I would think it rather hard to miss Greek when doing Unicode, so is this some internal private wager that Panos Merakos lost?![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

Re: DataGrid cell object
Well that was silly, It's obvious now but the reference "Col 1 0005" isn't absolute, the "Col 1" part actually takes into account the column name, so if you rename the 1st column to "First Name", the cell reference becomes "First Name 0005". But now I've discovered an even worse obstacle to what I'm...

DataGrid cell object
Greetings to all, I know I'm not being original here, this being my first post and already asking about DataGrids, but there's that. I've been through the documentation and forums, and I've found similar issues to mine, but not exactly. I want to access an arbitrary individual cell object of a popul...
