Re: Android Studio - Additional JDK not needed (Solution to Java is none error)

Hi, long time no see :) Thanks! Next to that if you image that (as far as I know) B4X is developed by 1 man only. And what its capable of. Livecode was for me the easiest and fastest to develop, but missing some stuff. If you dive into Flutter or B4X, one gets the hang of it pretty fast. Disadvantag...

Re: Apps having stopped functionality?

Sorry for the pause in answering this. I've had disabled email notifications. I've changed to php8.0, so maybe this is a bit more strict. so for one php file I now got an error message. Also shown via "Answer the result". This is solved now. I checked one app, and for this it partly seems to work no...

Apps having stopped functionality?

Hi, Long time no see, just something I'd like to know. I have 3 apps on the Google Play which have stopped working partly, and as I have no error messages I think it's mainly because they need access to the database via https php middleware. And these php files work correct. Is it possible that apps...

Re: Android App Bundle (.aab) Format is getting enforced

I did not do that yet. I just pointed to the information where it states clearly how to do it via commandline. I presume the tool the LC is building in will use the same commandline command and bundletool to do that. Seems doable, as of this part https://developer.android.com/studio/build/building-c...

Re: Community Installers

Thanks Stryder, ClipArtGuy, Richmond ! I'm actually a software preservationist at heart. Call it a software hoarding issue. However, I have retained a lot of software of the past 30+ years that no longer really exists anywhere. I archive and upload when I can. In this case, everything was taken dow...

Re: Rpi or maybe another board

playing sounds: it seems that they always get cut in the beginning.(my sounds are on the app directory so could be slow reading? If I remember correct in LC there should be an possibility for audio to pre-load an audio sample already, have to check the dictionary on that. Another consideration for ...

Re: Rpi or maybe another board

@Richard, I think I'm not quite following your last post.

I'm merging HTML with PHP of course.
Merging LC with HTML does not work on the Rpi. Yes it does work on Linux servers based on x86 processors as I also did before.

Re: Android Studio - Additional JDK not needed (Solution to Java is none error)

SOme people manage to still use only the command line for the Android SDK, the older version had a small GUI to just install the needed. For new commers, install android studio plus the needed sdk's, install java jdk and keep track where i is installed, install LC and set the correct installation fo...
