Re: Hirens Boot CD?

Small addendum. If PC is to slow for virus scanning try and use a portable app on a memorystick. https://portableapps.com/apps/security Here you will also find a defrag tool... https://portableapps.com/apps/utilities So if you do not want to use Hirens this is also worth a try. Have fun...

Re: Pop-up Menu and Tab Key

I see the same strange behavior in your stack (see attached zipped animated gif file).
But when I loaded it I got the message 'A stack revCursors is already in memory ....'. (see attached file)

Re: Multidimensional Arrays? Please Help with Lesson

The easiest way to show the contents of an array I found is to put the Tree Widget in a card and fill it with the array data (tTestData) with the following one line of code.

Code: Select all

set the arraydata of widget TreeView to tTestData

Re: Write and run code in standalone

(I'm so often foggy anyway :P ) Well Einstein was pretty foggy so it is probably a sign of supreme intelligence  . But the next quotes of him fit the bill from my perspective :D Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new. You can never solve a problem on the level on whi...

Re: Write and run code in standalone

@ Craig, There is already a simple errorDialog handler in stack I posted. I have no plans in developing an application (yet). But it could be nice to have someone build an application in which kids (e.g. between 6 and 8 ) learn about put, answer, ask, if then else , While, Arrays ect without them ha...

Re: Write and run code in standalone

So here is a first simple and working attempt. UserCodeRunTestV01.zip It also works as a standalone (for me that is Windows) but you have to build it yourself. To be clear... it is not my goal to build another language for developing applications. My goal is to give users the 'programming' tools to ...

Write and run code in standalone

Hi LC specialists,

I have an idea for an application where i need to be able to have a user run my standalone and be able to write code in LC script in a pane (e.g. field), have it syntax checked and run it .
Is this possible and if yes how?

Regards,

Paul
