absolute vs relative file paths

On page 25 of the userguide it refers to a section on "File Name Specifications and File Paths" and something called relative file paths. I can't find the section though :( Can someone please explain how to and when to use the different file path types? I seem to be having a very difficult time gett...

oomhenk, I am also evaluating Rev Media. For what is worth, it seems to me that the documentation is indeed incomplete, but the program is also quite powerful.
