I'm in!
I would like to talk about behaviors and their benefits to your code and some variations that I want to explore.
I would also like to explore some graphic possibilities when changing cards in my application.

Re: July is here
Jim, I find that you always have something interesting to contribute to our user group meetings. Our group always has some interesting topics to discuss. As our user group knows, we are not doing any formal training in our meetings. We ask questions that we have and look for contributions from the r...

Re: MEETINGS ON HOLD: COVID-19
I also realize that our regular meeting date was the first Thursday of the month, that would be July 2nd. But since we don't have to reserve a room anywhere we can be flexible on that. Let's hear from y'all and see if we can get this done. Hell, I'll even host the meeting. First, let's see if you ar...

Re: MEETINGS ON HOLD: COVID-19
I have attended one LiveCode Zoom conference and I thought it was good. I have also hosted my own personal Zoom conference with a person that I work with and it was pretty cool. I think our user group could have a Zoom Conference, at least try it out, and see what happens. Having a Zoom conference e...

Re: MEETINGS ON HOLD: COVID-19
FYI the former meeting place - Dupar's - has finally closed. When we resume our meeting, we will need a new venue. We - sort of expected - Dupar's was not going to survive, even before the pandemic. I hope that we will be able to meet sometime in the near future. In the meantime should we be conside...

Re: March meeting?
for parking, it is suggested for folks to park on the West Parking Bldg. Go to the 2nd floor and use the bridge that connects to the mall and you are at El Cholo. Again, parking validation is good for 90 minutes.

Meeting CANCELLED: Feb 6, 2020
FYI: The meetup location is changing to the El Cholo Restaurant at the Pasadena Paseo Mall. The location change is because the previous location (Dupar's) has been a less than reliable meetup location. Please reply to this posting and give any comments about this change. Parking at the Marengo Stree...

Re: sending a Backspace to a on Keyup commnd
The main thing that I like about LiveCode is its versatility.
L C offers so many ways to achieve a result, you just need imagination and problems will be solved.
Cool Stuff.

Re: sending a Backspace to a on Keyup commnd
For anyone interested - here is my sample application.
It includes a US States file to load into the list.
Do with it whatever you want.
It is a drop list that is parsed by typing letters in the parsing field or clicking the down arrow to get a full list.

Re: sending a Backspace to a on Keyup commnd
Hi Folks, I do appreciate all of your responses to my question about sending the "BackSpaceKey" Again, the suggestion that Richmond2 gave was the one that worked well for me, I am sure that some of you might be curious about my need for such a bit of code. If you are interested in seeing my sample o...
