Re: LiveCode 6.5.0 Released

Thanks for your reply. I change the build number each time. I have also tried uninstalling and removing the downloaded files from the prior versions. It's a no go. But it works fine on my current Android phone. I also just re-built the app from scratch with a different name. Same error on other Andr...

Re: LiveCode 6.5.0 Released

Auto size works on my phone. However, I can no longer test it on my other devices. I get an error message of "App not installed". I even tried on a co-workers phone. The only phone that can install is my new phone. My old phone was reset to factory. It installed the app just fine until I recompiled ...

Re: Android POST Command Fails

Removing the libUrlSetSSLVerification setting did the trick. There is still hope for me as I have learned something. :D

Thank you for your assistance. LiveCode is very friendly but it still takes time to understand it all. Especially for me since I am a beginner.

Thank you!

Re: Android POST Command Fails

I have used the "Search for " automatic function and have done the manual method of clicking on Internet, etc. The post command does nothing. The app has the results of the post command going to a field. Nothing shows up in the field. Works great running the app in LiveCode on my Windows machine and...

Android POST Command Fails

I think the internet library is not being generated. No DLL's in the directory where the apk is created when saving for Android. I have looked for anything labeled internet in the LiveCode folders, hoping to find the library and manually include it with my build. No luck. I have tried on three versi...

Re: Push Notification Example Stack

Got an update to Livecode which fixed the problem on closing the receiver app with the home button. Now I am trying to use the Send app on Android. The problem is it doesn't work and no results appear int he result window when I build and run the AGCM on Android. I have tried the automatic inclusion...

Re: Push notification text in the status bar

Splash21 has posted a sender stack that works. There are parameters for sound that are not in the LC lesson. I have attached splash21's stack for sending push notifications as it is MUCH better than the LC lesson stack. :D

Thank you Splash21! :D

Re: Push Notification Example Stack

@ splash21... your stack works great. My problem is the receiver app I made based on the LC lesson. It works when first used. And if after closing the app I remove it from the Recent Apps list. But if I close it and leave it in the recent apps list, the next message does not display. I am not using ...
