Please don't wait until after v7 is released to file reports for any tokens you find missing or erroneous. The issue found in the OP was apparently fixed for v6.6, but if you find any others please flag 'em so the team can jump on them during the testing cycle.richmond62 wrote:I do hope, come version 7, the dictionary will be rather more up-to-date as well.

Re: Problems in the Dictionary
My thoughts too. Back in the mid-1990s I read my Allegiant SuperCard printed books pretty much cover-to-cover, and it really boosted my understanding and inspiration. I'd love to have the LiveCode dictionary (and user guide!) in print form, but should I wait? Probably...

If you go here in the Menu bar:
Help/User Guide you will open the "Livecode User Guide.pdf", and if you want to be rather extravagant you can print out
the 378 pages.

I wrote a third of the SC Language Guide, with Ken Ray and Christopher Watson. We used the model established by Jeanne DeVoto for "HyperTalk 2.2: The Book". Jeanne later became the documentation lead for most of LC's dictionary through the early versions, using a style pretty much adhered to since.
