Deploy error message
If I click "Deploy" in the revMobile 4.0.0-prelease-14 I get the following error message: "card "iPhone": execution error at line 617 (do: error in statement) near "_internal deploy ios tDeploy", char 1"
Any advice?

Re: Deploy error message
Hello Robert,
I get the same error.... card "iPhone": execution error at line 617 (do: error in statement) near "_internal deploy ios tDeploy", char 1
I also have the script editor display with a request for a password. Do you get that, too?
If you haven't yet done so, you should report this to support: Runtime Revolution Support <support@runrev.com>.
I've already done so.

Re: Deploy error message
Hello Randy,
When did you wrote your mail to support@runrev.com about the issue?
Robert
Thats because the plugin script is protected.I also have the script editor display with a request for a password. Do you get that, too?

Re: Deploy error message
I wrote yesterday. They asked me to double-check that everything was installed correctly. As far as I can tell, I've followed the installation guidelines. The previous plug-in worked just fine ... even with the 4.5.1 update.
Re: Deploy error message
I also sent a mail to support and posted my environment specs on the improve list.

Re: Deploy error message
What type of deployment are you attempting?
I'm able to deploy my apps to my iPad and to my iPod Touch (1st Gen) using LC 4.5.1 and plug-in 4.0.0-prerelease-14 (2010-11-10). I was having trouble after first updating the plug-in, but I've since updated my OS to 10.6.5 and updated my XCode to 3.2.4 and everything seems to be working fine (better, now that I can hide my status bar).
I also updated my Plist configuration slightly, as I was getting mixed results with the defaults (eg. apps still deployed, but screen would be blank, or would quit on launch on device).

Re: Deploy error message
Looks like it was some kind of licensing issue.
I went to Help - Re-license LiveCode like Heather mentioned on the list and now the plugin works as expected.

Sounds great, glad it was something simple. Which list did Heather mention it on? I thought I was caught up on the lists, but I'm still pretty green.RRobert wrote:Looks like it was some kind of licensing issue.

Code: Select all
Dear list folks,
It seems probable that this error is either due to having the wrong license active, or the plugin incorrectly installed. If you have more than one LiveCode license, and one of them has iOS and the other does not, please check you have the correct license selected. You may need to relicense and select your iOS license, which you can do by following this lesson:
http://lessons.runrev.com/spaces/lessons/buckets/1292/lessons/20141-Why-does-my-LiveCode-act-like-a-Trial-when-I-have-a-full-License-
Please also check that you have installed the plugin correctly, re-installing following the steps in this lesson may help:
http://lessons.runrev.com/spaces/lessons/buckets/784/lessons/21341-How-to-install-custom-user-plugins
If you have done both these things, you have checked that you are definitely using LiveCode 4.5.1 NOT 4.5, and you are still seeing this or a similar error, do let us know and we will investigate further.
Warm Regards,
Heather

Thanks Robert, I'm not on that one; is that only offered through the LiveCode Developer Program?
