A new site dedicated to RunRev is ready!

Post by ale870 » Tue Dec 08, 2009 5:36 pm

I just opened a new web site entirely dedicated to Runtime Revolution!
It is at: http://runrevwidgets.com/wiki/tiki-index.php

In this site you will find a lot of FREE resources for this great programming language! But the focus is on widgets, small pieces of code, packed as groups or stacks/substacks, sometimes even as plain script inside an object (like a button), that you will be able to your in your applications!

You can even send us, via forum, your wish-list! It means if you have special requests (add a new feature to an existing widget, or you need a new one, etc...) don't hesitate to contact us: we will try to satisfy your request! Everything for free!!

Furthermore, we freely supply a forum area (to discuss about the widgets, to send your wish-list, etc...).

I hope you will like the job I'm doing, I'm working hard to make and maintain this site.
Every area is free, but only the forum needs subscription (since there is too much spam over the web).

Don't forget to regularly visit me! Bookmark this site! I'm waiting your feedback, suggestions, etc...

Thank you!

Three widgets are available now! All for free!
Go to http://runrevwidgets.com/wiki/tiki-view ... p?blogId=1 for the official news!

* Cards exporter to XML: Export the cards in a stack to an xml file! You can even setup some options to filter which cards to export!
* Auto destruction button: do you remember the (in)famous red button, protected from a glass, and used to launch atomic missile?! Well, now you have a similar button to your finger-tips! Use it to close your program, or to make a special action. Use it inside your games!
* Rich Editor: This is a simple but effective text editor, including rich format like bold, italic and underline. Even word wrap is included!

Don't forget to check Download area!

Subscribe to the forum, are send me your suggestions, opinions, your wish-list about widgets/tutorials/tips & tricks and more!

Hello,

a new widget is almost ready: zip/unzip tool using vuilt-in zip capabilities of RunRev!
I'm completing extracting procedure, then I need to finalize some "utilities" like file information, etc...

Hello again!

I'm here to give you a great news: Widget Space Zipper was updated! Now it implements some non-visual features (as you requested ;-)
Now you can setup a default target directory, then simply send a couple of messages to the widget, and it will automatically extract the archive, without any other user intervention!

Check it this great widget, and don't forget that every widget is free, with source code included!

Cheers!

Hello,

recently I found some problems using the function revRotatePoly in order to rotate a polygon or graphic.
After some time, and thanks to the information contained in this forum I created an article to explain, in detail, how to use that function, and how to avoid some little problems that you can have using it.
Don't hesitate to give me your feedback, comments, etc... about it.
Click here: http://runrevwidgets.com/wiki/tiki-inde ... e=Graphics then go to How to rotate a polygon.

Cheers!
