Hello.
Is there a way to display a pdf in the Browser Widget without the grey edge at the top so the image goes right to the top edge and turn off the slidebar slider? There appears to be no options to do this in the widget inspector settings? Also can the slide on tools be disabled? I am trying to load a pdf into a stack and take a snapshot of it but the tools always appear as soon as the pdf is loaded?
Thanks
Bidge

Re: PDF Viewer
Alternatively...does anyone know of a way to extract an image from a pdf from LC?

Re: PDF Viewer
Hi David,
I am also seeing this on a Mac in LC 8.16 and there are obviously no settings to avoid this.
Please consider to file a report here: http://quality.livecode.com
LC does not provide any means to extract an image or anything else from a PDF.
Maybe there are command line tools that can do so, then you could use SHELL.
Best
Klaus

Bug 20278
EDIT: Just recieved a reply:
BidgeI take it you are using a browser widget to show a PDF?
If this is the case then this isn't anything to do with LiveCode, but is to do
with the browser - if there is a way to control the display of the tools then
it will be through JavaScript.
I suggest asking in the forums or the lists to see if anyone has managed to
achieve the effect you desire.
Warmest Regards,
Mark.
