Has anybody already written any kind of wrapper or library to access a cmis repository like alfresco from within livecode?
Something similar to:
Apache Chemistry OpenCMIS

I'm not sure if this will have everything you're looking for, but Ralf Bitter's RevIgniter is an excellent web framework well worth exploring:

Re: CMIS Library for livecode?
Thanks Richard, but this is not what i'am looking for.
My goal is to get documents from the cmis repository together with its metadata into livecode, review the document (it can be pictures, pdf's, textdocsm etc ) change the metadata and send it back into the cmis repository.

Re: CMIS Library for livecode?
Ah, thanks.
I've not heard of anyone working with the CMIS standard in LiveCode, but hopefully we'll see someone drop in here who has.
If it helps there are SOAP and JSON libraries for LiveCode:
http://livecodeshare.runrev.com/stack/405/LibSOAP
http://www.rozek.mobi/LiveCode/JSONlib/ ... cr_en.html

That's a very usefull library ! Thanks for the tip.FourthWorld wrote: http://www.rozek.mobi/LiveCode/JSONlib/ ... cr_en.html
Why Rozek didn't promote it ? I found no trace of it (on the forum).
Re: CMIS Library for livecode?
Hi mimuBUSkYgY,
Richard is correct, revigniter is needed as a foundation for a proper CMS. We are currently looking at converting [translating from PHP would be a better explanation] or existing Codeigniter CMS like http://www.getfuelcms.com/ or http://ionizecms.com/. We are currently evaluating both template CMS system. Just like Ralf Bitter converted revigniter from Codeigniter, we are looking to convert one of these to Livecode. We should have an answer in a few weeks. If anyone has an opinion or suggestion please let us know. We are also looking at RapidWeaver as a simple solution to get ideas from since it is so popular is the mac world.
I will update in a few weeks.
Best,
Todd Fabacher
