Implementing AdMob

I am new to live code and development, I have many questions but my 1st question, does live code support implementing Google AdMob into applications?

Hello Again,

Researching the forums I do now see that AdMob is not supported in LC, that was back in April. Have there been any updates since then that will allow this to be supported?

this is for LiveCode Mobile, right?
Please check the "iOS/Android Release Notes" (Menu: Help)
If it is not listed there, then it is not supported!

I see this post is almost 2 years old now ... and I was really shocked to see the word "AdMob" only got mentioned 5 times in this entire forum.

What's the latest with including advertising in LiveCode Android and iOS Apps?

Has the situation improved in the last 2 years? I'd like to do quite a few free to download Apps for Android but I also need to come up with ways it helps pay for food

I've also been thinking on this as well lately, it's one of the reasons I haven't released anything I've done. It'd be trivial to implement web ads but with a decent amount of effort and a little programming skill I imagine an external can be written that could support small pop up ads or full page AdMob ads. I'm going to have a look at the Android Admob SDK and see what all is required to implement ads.
