Possible bug found in Rev Web Player

Post by admin12 » Thu Jul 28, 2011 4:08 am

In Live Code, you can use tab with fields all day long and they work. In the browser, using tab does not work at all - it makes the focus go back to the browser itself.

This is a nasty bug for database programmers since forms are almost always filled out with using the tab key to go from field to field.

Please fix this!

Mike

Mike,

I think that the web plugin is unsupported and obsolete. I wouldn't recommend using it for any commercial solutions. Instead, make a standalone available for download.

Anyone know of any other solution out there that combines the promise of this product, but with actual functioning, language and an API?

I don't believe the RevWeb plugin is unsupported. It's still listed as a deployment option on the runrev.com site, and IIRC a new version was released in the last few weeks.

For any specific issues with the plugin you may want to write to support@runrev.com

Hi, good to hear it, its been a while as you know, and it would be a great option for something I am doing now, it just sometimes seems like the focus gets stuck in one direction (Mobile) and everything else just sits there, hopefully in the future well see some progress, thanks for taking time to post.

Hi,

I haven't seen a new version of the web plugin. Got a link?

If you don't see one on the main download link for the plugin then it may be that I'm remembering recent discussions on the developer list. I don't use the plugin myself, but I do get the impression that it's very much in ongoing and quite active development there at RunRev Ltd.
