How to edit Row Behavior of a Data Grid in LC 9.0.0

Post by trags3 » Thu Jul 12, 2018 9:59 pm

I had a project I started in LC 7.1.4 that worked pretty well.(a couple of years ago)
I have been away from LC for about a year and I have since started a similar project but using LC 9.0.0.
I have a text file with 2 items per line that I want to display in a scrolling datagrid.
While trying to follow the Stocks App building lesson I get to the point where the "Edit Row Behavior" button is invoked within the Object Inspector for the group.
In LC 9.0.0 I can find no such button.
What am I missing?
Thanks,
Tom

In LC9 it is labelled “edit script” and sits above the “edit template...” button.
If you open the dictionary in LC and then click on the GUIDE tab, you will see a list of guides.
The “Livecode Data Grid” can be found in the intermediate section. It has been rewritten for LC 8/9 and so has the new Property Inspector included.

Are you using a form or table DG?
