LC License not cooperating - SOLVED

Hi,
I thought I'd ask the forum before posting a bug report. I was working in LC 9 dp 11 testing a few things. After a while I tried closing LC but got the swirling color ball so I did a force quite. LC quite but now when I try and start any LC 8 versions it keeps asking me to accept the license agreement and activate the license, all of which I have already done. I can however still open any LC 9 versions. So it appears that somehow my LC license got tweaked. So I'm up the creek... any thoughts?

LiveCode License not function!

Dear Livecode,
we are really in trouble!
I'm a couple of hours that I can not work with LiveCode.
This is a big problem, no work, no money!
No version of LC from version 7 to 9 runs :-(
By executing LiveCode, the window with the text "The session has lapsed. Please try again" appears. I press the "Activate" button but it appears to me a laconic writing "The session has lapsed. Please try again."
I tried with the license saved on the disk but also here the words "The provided license is no longer valid".
What is going on? My license has not expired yet!
Do you realize that for those who work like me this is a damage? !!!!
You have to find another way to protect your software,
you can't leave a professional without your own tool!

I have had similar problems, and why that happens is a mystery:
but it can be solved relatively easily: just
log into your LiveCode account and generate new off-line licenses.

unfortunately, is three hours that connecting to www.livecode.com the blank page appears :cry:

A workaround is to drop your internet connection. Then start LC IDE. After that you can establish your internet connection again. This worked here.

Hi Tom,

I had the same problem and spotted another post on the forum.

If you disconnected from the internet and then run livecode, it will load (i have just done this myself and it worked) Once Livecode is loaded then you can re-connect to the internet again
