Poor import snapshot from rectangle quality

Post by mrcoollion » Tue Jul 25, 2017 2:10 pm

Although the below commands work to take a snapshot and place it in the clipboard (windows 10) the image quality is very low (much lower than the screen quality)
import snapshot from rectangle (th ... ast image

Any way I can improve on the quality so it resembles the screen quality?

Paul

Hi Paul,

well, "import snapshot" is "import snapshot" and if the result is poor, there is nothing we can do about this in Livecode, I'm afraid.
However I have never experienced this on Win, could you please the screenshot from LC and maybe another one as a comparison?

Best

Hi Klaus,

I tested it as you suggested and compared the picture quality (paint.net) .
Now I see that that LC is not the problem but the application I pasted the picture in downgraded the picture quality and not the import snapshot command from LC.

So, problem solved.

Thanks Klaus for keeping me on the right path (may the force be with you).
