As already said few times, No I didn't have any knowledge of TeX and Co.
Reading very quickly from your link, it seems that I've done exactly what it is written
ButI did ask to the TeX forums last week for portability, and here was the answer:
which was the start of my tests and BTW, inspired also on yours...Yes, but it is more difficult and then front ends and the like will need to be reconfigured individually.
