I have a distant memory of making a little thing (HC? SC? LC?) that played sounds whenever the keyboard was used, and ran in the background. Yes, the corny old typewriter sound simulation effect – a silly but fun example of a simple app. I can make something easily enough if the point is to run in the foreground, but is it possible in LC to do this so it'll play sounds on typing events when it's in the background?

Re: Keyboard triggers anywhere?
I could be wrong, but I do not think that LC receives messages from the system when another app is in front. It surely does not from another app itself. So if no messages, no dice.
