Watchpoints "still" buggy?

Post by dunbarx » Tue Dec 13, 2016 11:46 pm

I say "still" because this is in 6.7.9.

But I have a saved stack in that version that clearly is compromised, and one can dig into it to see the effects. A watchpoint is wonderful but I never use them. Decided to try it.

There is a body of threads that say these tools are (were?) crashing LC. This one crashed mine. About a few hundred global breakpoints loaded, without any of them actually referenced to any global variable, when I tried to set a single watchpoint. Anyone in Scotland interested? Anyone else? I am using a backup of my project, so no real harm.

If this is repeatable in the current version of LC (8.1 or later) of course the team would be interested. Give it a go, and if your recipe exhibits the bug please submit a report.

I will save it in 8.1 and see.

But do you use, and have no issues with watchPoints?
