LC-8 tool palette clunkiness

I would be embarrassed to be thought of as complaining. After all, I love LC, and am so happy that it is moving forward.

But does anyone but me think that the elegant (Mac-like) IDE graphics in the toolbar are somehow being co-opted by ugly and clunky (PC-like or worse, Pac Man-like) graphics for the widgets portion?

They are as jarring as inkblots on an Escher drawing.

Hi Craig,

not sure what you are unhappy with, but that is how the widgets actually look on the card, only bigger!?

Actually, it's not. I'm not really sure why the clunky graphics exist except maybe as a temporary measure.

Grab a clock widget and drag it onto a stack. Still look similar?

So there are three panes in the tool palette. And the widgets pane seems far prettier. Whew.
