Hi guys
Just completed a really fun project. A recovery truck that is covered in LED lighting. The lighting is used for operational use, but also has a "show" mode for off-road use where we are allowed to go a little crazy.
I used an android head unit (car stereo) touch screen for the user interface (running livecode) which connects to wifi via a raspberry pi. This pi is then on a LAN with 4 other control units attached to the relays and trigger inputs from the vehicle (reverse, indicators, headlights on, main beam, parking brake ect.)
Heres a video with a quick look of the story so far. The livecode interface has still to get skinned, so is basic buttons at the moment.
