I recently took another look at the color shift issue that has plagued imported PNG images for years, if not the last decade, and the problem has seemingly been corrected. It also looks like the default screenGamma is now 2.2 on OS X.
Are there any details available about this fix and what was changed?
And can I say, if you guys did indeed fix this, how FRIGGIN' EPIC this is, given how agonizingly long we've been dealing with this problem?
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

Epic indeed. I needed this one. So convenient to work with PNGs now.
