I must be very stupid, but I cannot work out what to do with an apparently static group.

Hi.

Just adorable.

I will take care of Richmond.

Ahem. Richmond. Click and drag one of the small white circles within the overall gadget.

Ahem. Richmond.
Clever stuff!

My problem was I tried to mess around with the purple circle! 8)

This is fine.
You could try to make with that technique also "Mr. Polygony":

(download https://hyperhh.de/html5/polygoniesHTML5-8.0.2.zip for the stack)

When you put this demo plus my two other demo's together you get this:

Michael,

yes, that's really fine again, as expected.
Can it now move? ("Move to the points in time" should work ...)

For now Im happy with static Hermann, because its a character reference tool for drawing.
I can design the character and pose it.

How can a link to an app that's not made with LC be relevant?
[Or: how do you define "relevant"?]

The thing that might be relevant is the logo of the jointed figure, suggesting, at the
very least, that something similar could be made using LiveCode.

An exercise that I find instructive is to download an app and attempt to reduplicate
its functionality in LiveCode . . . .
