RevOnline Question

Post by warrenk » Sat May 02, 2009 7:43 pm

I found a great HTML editor on the older version of RevOnline. But I upgraded my software (v3.5) and now have the new version of RevOnline...and can't find the editor. I was stupid and forgot to download it.

Is there anyway to get back to the old RevOnline when I am on v3.5? I can't find the html editor on the new version.

Thanks!
Warren

Hi again Warren
Is there anyway to get back to the old RevOnline when I am on v3.5?
The short answer: no, unfortunately.

Personally I'm a little miffed at the Rev 3.5 RevOnline being a totally new one (don't know if I'm in the minority there...).

The only way to get the old RevOnline is to open 2.9 (and before that, I guess) or 3.0.

Hopefully you haven't binned your 3.0!

Gyroscope,

I knew that would be the answer. :(

Unfortunately I got rid of my 3.0 version. This really sucks as the html editor on the older version was perfect for my needs.

Anyone on the v3.0 version or earlier that wouldn't mind sending me the html editor from RevOnline (in the general category I believe)....I would be eternally grateful! Send me a PM and I will provide my email address (I don't think you can send attachments to a PM). Really appreciate it! :D

No need to send me the stack anymore. Someone was nice enough to send it to me. Thanks everyone for looking!

Thanks!

revOnline -- Login/out

Post by TEDennis » Tue May 05, 2009 12:34 pm

My revOnline session shows me as:

"You are logged in as" [with no user id]

When I try to log out to correct that glitch, it says "Failed to log out"

So, how do I "log out", so I can "log in" ??

"My Account" shows empty. No email, no company, etc.

The lower left corner shows:

"RevOnline | No connection" [Actually, it says "conneciton" -- spelling error]

Also, the list stacks ends with "Shell". The summary below the list says "RevOnline | 65 stacks online"

It looks like I'm stuck in some weird mode.

Anybody have any ideas on how to get me unstuck?

I'm having a similar issue with Rev Online.

I bring it up and it is showing, or not showing depending, the following:

1- You are logged in as tom_h84@hotmail.com
I have NO clue who or how that got there and I can guarantee that's not my email address or login.
Last time I logged into Rev Online was with the older version, 3.0, and everything was working fine.

2- I can't sign out. It's just stuck saying 'Retrieving user details ...'.

3- 'My Account' does not work as well.

4- There is nothing, nada, zilch listed under RevOnline. The stack is not working whatsoever.

If anyone has any insights, it would be most welcome.

Regards!
