Quartam Reports error

Post by JosepM » Sat Feb 04, 2017 6:59 am

Hi,

I need help with Quartam Reports. From Sierra MacOSX when you print preview any report, a blank page left on desktop making unusable these zone until close the app.
Since now was impossible contact with Quartam support.
Any idea if Quartam still exist or is supported? Alternatives?

Salut,
Josep M

What's even more annoying about QR, is that over a year ago, I was told that it was going to be going open-source. It's not open-source, yet.
I do two things. Neither is ideal, but...
1) You can print natively from LC. In effect you lay out a substack and print it.
2) You can use Valentina's report engine and their ADK. I have not tried to control V's reporting engine from within LC, but I have built reports that I print from within V itself. The reporting is not their top priority, but it's there.

Thanks for answer.
Yes, I will try Valentina... but seems less powerful than QR, isn't?

No. It is more than just a reporting tool.
