"Can't open file" message

Has anyone gotten this message when trying to update from 2.5 to 2.5.1, using the Update Alert box that opens when I open LC? I don't understand how to fix the problem so that the plug-in can be updated. Thanks for your suggestion(s).

I must be crazy, but last time I looked the current versions of LiveCode were 9.0.1 and 9.0.2, so what
on earth does "2.5 to 2.5.1" mean?

Since this is the "Data Grid Helper" forum, I strongly presume Monty means the DGH update from 2.5 to 2.5.1
