On Windows 7 and the Mac OS, I can not get the Android Device Manager, to look like the install video.
In the window with new edit delete repair details start buttons on the right, I do not have the tabs "Android Virtual Devices" and "Device Definitions" at the top.
When I hit the new button, I do not have a drop down list device between Name and Target.
The entries following skin are different.
Not sure how to get equivalent settings to that shown in the video.
This is what mine looks like on the Mac.

Re: Android Device Manager
Have you installed the necessary SDK packages (e.g. Android 2.2, 2.3 and 4.1)?
This can be accessed via the SDK Manager.
Hope this helps.

Re: Android Device Manager
On windows I now have device definitions even though, I am not aware of changing things in the Android SDK.
(Maybe just exiting and coming back in changed things)
On Mac These are installed (on Windows similar):
Android SDK Tools
Android SDK Platform tools
Android Support
Andoid 1.5
Android 1.6
Android 2.1
Android 2.2
Android 2.3.3
Android 3
Android 3.1
Android 3.2
Android 4.0
Android 4.0.3
I will try installing a few more items on the Mac.

Re: Android Device Manager
I added more packages and that seemed to take care of it, but did not figure out which package was necessary.
Thanks
Thanks
Re: Android Device Manager
Dear Sharp,
Thank you for your request.
The main required packages that you must have installed is both the "Tools" package and "Android 2.2" package.
I would also recommend that you download newer packages (e.g. 2.3.3 , 4.1) as these will allow you to create newer Android Version AVDs to test your application on.
