Barcode scanner recommendations?

Post by Tonnystark » Sun Dec 30, 2018 11:17 am

Our current barcode scanners (Honeywell MS9540). They are very sensitive to what position they have to be in. When we do inventory, we put a laptop and a scanner on a cart and they have such a large footprint. Does anyone have any recommendations for smaller barcode scanners that don't take up a lot of the desk space? We'd like something that has a small cradle but can also be used freely in the hand to scan books without having to take them off the shelf for inventory (doesn't have to be wireless).

If you want something that takes up less space, I can recommend using a mobile phone instead of a laptop, together with Bluetooth ring scanners.

Or an Android device, with an integrated barcode scanner.
