Alejandro- that chromium discussion link is about supporting HTTP/0.9 long-term, while the server in question here is using HTTP/1.0.
But the shoutcast audio stream content is audio/x-scpls in spite of the web site saying that it's audio/mpeg. So unless the target computer can handle this type of stream or can redirect that stream to something else that can (VLC?) my guess is that converting the stream in flight probably won't be a simple task. On a mac without extra audio support I just get a 64-byte listen.pls file in the Downloads folder.

Hi Jon,
Did you find a solution for this. I have just been asked to provide an app to select one of 3 internet radio streams.

Hi Mark,
I am sorry to say that I didn't. For now, I've given up on it.
Best regards,
Jon
