Cmd-G
I JUST FOUND THIS.
Ahem.
It is an old HC shortcut in the debugger. After you set the text to find, perhaps with Cmd-Opt-F, you can find the next instance with Cmd-G, or the previous with Shift-Cmd-G.
It is not in the debugger menu. Is this old news?

Re: Cmd-G
When I first started with LC, I just looked at all the listed shortcuts. This one is not. So I have always clicked on the "next" and "prev" arrows to navigate to the next instance of a string. A pain,I thought every program used this
Stupid.

Re: Cmd-G
Are the shortcuts not visible in the menus?

Re: Cmd-G
Richard.
There is no listed shortcut to find "Next" or find "Previous". The two arrows next to the text field are there, but not annotated. Is this worth mentioning? Others have chimed in like it is old news.
Did you know?

Re: Cmd-G
It's old news to me, been using it for years, but since I always use keyboard shortcuts I never even noticed whether it was in the menus.

Re: Cmd-G
I didn't. Like Jacque, Cmd-G is so commonly used for "Find Again", and it worked as it does in other programs, I never checked to see if it was in the menu.
Looking for it now I can see why there is no shortcut for that menu item: there is no menu item.
For the sake of completeness it may not be bad to add "Find Next" and "Find Previous" to the Edit menu. And once the menu items exist, their shortcuts can be displayed.
