Create mobile apps from within a mobile app

Post by theotherbassist » Sun Jul 23, 2017 9:08 pm

Maybe this has been done already, but wouldn't it be fairly easy to write a mobile app that creates apps with common objects and allows prop mods and script entry (i.e. livecode ui for mobile)? You could just save everything in an external array that then forms the basis for a completely new app when you copy it back to desktop and compile it.

Or have one app that can open and run other stacks. Stack files are tiny and portable.

There was a post on the LC blog about doing this. I forget who was working on it, but it was more of a proof-of-concept than anything else.
