Emacs key bindings

Post by dpatterson » Fri Feb 03, 2017 11:25 pm

According to the documentation, setting the emacsKeyBindings to true enables a subset of the Emacs key bindings.
I would really love to use this feature. I've been using Emacs since the late eighties and have configured all of my other IDEs to behave the same way. Not having the basics (^a, ^e, ^p, ^n, etc.) is a constant annoyance in the LiveCode IDE.

The problem is that "set the emacsKeyBindings to true" doesn't seem to have any affect.
Is there something else that needs to be done?
Is the emacsKeyBindings not the correct property?

Illumination appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Dave
