I have googled "Livecode layer stacks" but nothing comes up. Is layering substacks possible?
I tried "go to stack "x" but nothing happened.

Re: Layering substacks
Hi.
Do you mean that if you overlay several stacks, you want the appearance of that pile to act in a certain way? There is no "layer" property for stacks, though if you ask for the layer of a stack, you will get "0".
The "layer" of a pile of stacks is determined by the recent activity of which ones become the defaultStack. Try this. Make three small stacks and overlay them so you can see a portion of all three at all times. Now click on one stack or the other. The clicked stack goes to the top, and the most recent one goes right under. You can click all day and see how this works.
So it is possible to "layer" your stacks if you navigate to them in some managed way. If you want the order to be "3,1,2" then simply navigate in reverse order.

Re: Layering substacks
Actually, windows and stacks have layers but it seems to be read-only.
