Testing My LiveCode Application

Hello peoples,
I made an application for android. As per the instruction for testing it on a real android device i downloaded JDK and Android SDK. Installed it but am not able to test my application even on my pc. My livecode version is : 7.1.1
Please give me a detailed instructions regarding testing an application.

Hello Neil,
Earlier i installed the software using the instruction from the lessons you mentioned but now i tried uninstalling it and then install it freshly.

To find a version for your pc,check with the software publisher

I was installing JDK 8u-73. As mentioned in the quote it's not been installing in my pc.

At what point are you up to with the Android setup?

e.g. Have you manage to install the JDK/Android SDK?
Is the Android SDK linked within LiveCodes preferences?

no i didn't manage to install jdk. It's prompting an error that i mentioned in quotes in earlier replies.

You may need to contact oracle with assistance with any errors associated with the installation of the Java JDK

I would also recommend downloading an older revision of the JDK (e.g. JDK 7.**) as this may allow installation on your system

i was searching but i was encountered only with version 8.
