garyth123 - hmmm all I can suggest then is to check the normal stuff like: are there any old certificates hanging around on your system (check with keychain) and refresh Xcode, does what you entered in the 'internal app id' box in standalone settings exactly match the app id you set up on Apple's website, are your provisional profiles valid etc

Has this issue been fixed in LC versions later than 6.6 with no need for the standalone setting zip ? I'm having problems with 6.6.5 and the "Could not find valid identity for use with selected profile." I've deleted from keychain access expired things and redownloaded certificates and provisioning files, but I'm afraid to revoke my development and distribution certificates from the Apple developer site. In keychain access the certificates appear with no triangle on the left to reveal the keys assigned to the certificates. There are also two certificates I don't see on my Apple Developer page: "Developer ID Certification Authority - expires Feb 2027, and Apple Worldwide Develper Relations Certification Authority - expires Feb 2016 " Should they be deleted? Also, in preferences in XCode, under signing Identities, there appears "IOS Development for IOS" but with "Missing private key" under Status. I feel so lost.

Yes, this has been fixed in the current versions of LC. I would recommend updating to 7.0.1 and trying to build again.

Hi all.
I have again the "not valid identity" message with LC 6.7.7 and Xcode 6.4.
Maybe something is changed again on Apple side that LC cannot manage?

Nobody else has this problem in these days?
All was working about a week ago.

Update Apple's expired certificate and it should work again.
