best practices for Android Apps...

Post by tjo » Sun Feb 16, 2014 8:59 pm

I'm a noob to LiveCode, working in Windows 7. I am hoping to create apps for Android and possibly iOS devices.

Is there any information on the best practices when you start designing an Android app in Windows?

For example, what is the preferred size to use for the cards, text and controls? Are there other things you need to be mindful of when you are creating an app for a platform different from the one you are developing on?

Just hoping to save myself a bit of time and effort down the road by getting a few basics right before I start.

Thanks for any advice,

TJ.
