video in stack

Post by drolaz » Thu Jan 31, 2013 4:27 pm

Hi folks,
I currently have a stack using ffplay (part of ffmpeg) to start a video stream.
Using launch to start the ffplay.exe.
This opens the video in a seperate window.

I would like this window to appear in the stack as a video object would..

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi drolaz,

sorry, this is not directly possible in Livecode!
The only way will be an external that does this, but there is none.

Best

Sorry for the bad news, but Livecode REALLY needs a complete overhaul of its multimedia playback engine!
Relying on Quicktime is only fine on a Mac! 8)
